Dear Doris

We are having some of your icy weather last night it stormed just enough to wet up everything, so today things are covered with ice. the wind is North west & its growing cold every minute. I dare not step out side for fear of the ice. I went down after some apples to cook with & Mrs Dykeman said come down the first of the week & I will give you some cloth for your quilt. I am making patchwork Mrs Fischer was down there. she said Willimene was her husbands stenographer & book keeper, he has just started in business for himself. She did'nt say what it was though.
