Well got your Postal last night. it turned cold. Tuesday in the PM. and every thing was frozen hard. Wed. morning and is the same. this morning Thursday Mr Griffin has passed away funeral to day here in Sto

I have worked the two screens that Ralph think are the best. I had him look at them yesterday

Transcription Notes:
Edited. The letter ends by saying "I think he can fix them" (on the next page). Pa and Ralph are trying to fix something. **In Ma's letter, previous image, she said Pa took all the screens off. The difficult word isn't "greens" or "queens" or "vines" or "veins". So "screens" seems to fit in there, and are things one can fix, or try to fix. This is a tough one. I think some of the words I can't make out may be names? I think the "Sto" is short for "Stoughton". At the end, he hired someone as something yesterday. Couldn't make out the name or position. *HE IS TALKING ABOUT RALPH BLAKE, I BELIEVE IS DORIS' FATHER-IN-LAW. Pa puts spaces instead of periods in some places, so I put an extra space too. Do transcribe capitals as such (eg address :)
