Dear Doris,

This morning is a morning one can enjoy, after the rain of last night, every thing [[strikethrough]] every thing [[/end strikethrough]] seems so refreshing. Pa has just come home with the crib from over to Jim Ansils. & I have washed it all over with soap & hot water, & the mattras the same, & now both are out in the sun & air where they will remain for several days. & then I shall cover the mattras with cloth it is in good condition, though a little stained. they seemed pleased to lend it, having been packed away in Standish's barn all these years. I wish we could get a little hole chair & she will be well fixed, now her teeth are coming through without much trouble owing to her healthy condition
