housework is of secondary importance. I have begun to braid another rug for the sake of getting some of the old pants out of the way of moths. it also keeps me from being so lazy here alone. I can't see out the foliage is so heavy. & no one comes. Stanley was here one day, he is pretty discouraged, no one is willing to take the baby unless they pay more than he is able to give & the others are with the two grand mothers. his undertaking bill was $350. Lowe just about robbed him we think. he is awfully discouraged, so many bills ahead of him & he is too miserable to work in the shop. it made me blue to hear him tell about it. he has enough to drive a sane one crazy & I would help him if he was able, so you see there is lots of hard things all around us & it doesn't seem right for me to have so much & another to sell along with nothing but pleasure such is left Ma.
