Doris
I think if you would say to Eleanor that you & Sid do not think it best for her to attend the movies so often, but to get more sleep, as you are responsible in a way for her going & coming. You know she never has had anyone to give her good advice and does not really know how to care for her self; I think she would take it kindly, she seems though as you say, to get along with Bitty very well, and you must take the reins so to shake and guide her along. She is young and needs to be told don't expect too much, as she is only a kid with her first money to spend as sees fit. We are having some cool days but no rain just a few little showers that don't seem to do us much good everything is like ashes in the garden. They get plenty of terrible destructive temtrests around us but none stop us. I am glad we don't get the thunder showers but we do need some.
