if looking for workers from outside the village Bapak [[or?]] [[Abu?]] stands alongside the main road + when people looking for work as [[buruh?]] tani come by they call them - [[buruh?]] tani are recognized "because they bring along their tools"
another way women get money is as bakuls
some make nails (some men also make nails) nails are made from old oil drums, bicycle spokes, old barbed wire, etc
- for 100 small nails get 30Rp, for 100 med, get 50Rp + 100 large 75 Rp
- can make 1000 a day
- woman who works as [[tuakng?]] abub must ask husband's permission first: womens salary somewhat lower than mens perhaps 3/4, because "[[dianglgap pekeyaan ringan, anak 2 saja brisa?]]"
inheritance between boys + girls same ((unlike Islamic law which is 2:1 or 2 1/2:1, acc. to J))
if marry a girls [[warisan?]] in land stays in her own but man + wife work together + proceeds from land belong to HH, i.e. are shared in Kajar area money of HH is kept by wife + if husband or children need money must ask mother

no women have attended training courses in econ. skills in Kajar area 
- women who become bakulsor traders may stay overnight. away from the village -  considered their own responsibility and park of the risk of becoming a bakul or trader
- stay in rented rooms (rumah sewaan) near the market
- most women in the village have at most a few years of Sd education (ada yang tamat ((finish)), ada yang tidak)
- somewhat but not a great deal higher now - depends on capability of parents to pay school costs
