- Mao Buang is oldest son of Pak Karyo
Mao Buang shares a gubug with two other fellows in their 20's, i.e. Ngadimin
Suti (younger brother of Bu Buang)
these two do not work for Buang, however, but they are each independent producers
they pool their money to buy clay and firing materials and display area in common, but each keeps profit of his own work
- clay covered with plastic so doesn't dry out
clay for animal figures taken from Gunung Sekarpetak +/- 2 1/2 K from Kasongan
(we visited this area on the way from the kalusan - Sekarpetak really a very low hill - saw several dug out sawahs with small standing pools of water

Pak Buang has a high style perbot [[image]] on a pedestal, 1 cukit (Ngadimin and Suti each have their own perbots and cukits so 3 of each in the gubug - also 1 bucket shared)
Pak Buang attended the '76 Dept Per. course - says were taught about marketing, firing, mixing of earth, organizaiton - says, however, that the knowledge can't be used yet for various reasons - for example, can't form a coop because no
