my comments:
1. does a course aimed at pengusaka only as this one, really reach the poor - or should their buruh be our target group?
2. socio-econ: data would be very useful here - are Chinese warehouse owners powerful in Mad. salt industry as on Java? - are there wide price swings from rainy to dry season? - if so perhaps a credit program needed as well
3. how about risk in the new methods due to longer crystallization period?
