PS I dug dandelions last night and they are on boiling now. they smell pretty good. I am going to fry fish balls to go with them. no herrins this week, to high, we are tired of them but they taste better to me when they are a mite salter. how did Betty like egg rooling was she shy? Dear Doris

It cleared off cold the then droppted down to two below freezing during the night it blew all night long, so this morning I have taken up my hall carpet & its blowing on the line. & have just washed up the floor in some good hot soapy water. this is the last carpet to take up. my chambers are all cleaned. the front one is the cap sheath, but so far, I have managed it alone, but it is altogather too hard, it lames me up for a day or two. I washed two bed quilts Sunday & got them both dry. then Monday I took the two double blankets, & got those washed & dried. so now I feel a bit cleaner yesterday being stormy I rested on my oars Pa is clearing up places out of doors.
