Jim was here yesterday afternoon it helped to fill in the time a bit that hangs on our hands. 
Mrs. Ballentine has sized up Nellie pretty well. I guess she and his sister are not as congianial as they might be. she says the sister is for grabbing every thing there is. she is an old maid too bad you have to stay in this pleasant weather. glad the baby is content to stay close by. she is pretty good at amusing herself we dont think she takes in from her ma my children were little run offs
