Dear Doris

A damp cool morning I am writing this letter early & may take it down to mail if I go down this morning. I wrote a short letter in reply to Lena's last night.

Pa was uneasy all day he was going down town but thought he didnt feel quite equal to the jant. he is depressed most of the time. he raked after the boy mowed the lawn. the Rings came over & the Ballentines were out talking. they came over early for me to go a berrying with them but I was over in the pasture picking & Pa said he didnt know where I was. so the old woman and George went alone they got about two quarts Addie came back
