Dear Doris
Still another sunny cool day. I hope you are having it cool also. Pa says his head is going fast. he cant tell a thing what he wants done he says. I guess the fourth will be a trying day, shall be glad when its over. our cherries are getting ripe but no one but the birds to pick them. the man to mow our grass has not got around to do it, no one does jobs for us, they know we can wait forever for them. our tomatoes I can see have grown since the rain. Pa says they wont ammount to anything.
