I have just moved my oriental Poppies out from und [[under]] the red bud bush, where they will get some sunshine I dont think they want so much shade, now I hope they will blossom. I raised these from seeds I planted, & they are thrifty looking this year, but did not blossom. I find that the rain did not wet down hardly an inch here but the radio had it there were heavy showers around us, with terrible tempests & severe earthquakes across the water. but New England escaped everything the air last night was charged over with
