I hope tomorrow it will clear & be pleasant. I went for a little airing after supper to get Pa off his "bug bears". I went down Prospect Street, that's where I have not been lately. Donovans new house stands up by itself & is a great improvement to the neighborhood. [[Serrack?]] has made the dump look decidedly better by filling it in so well & the trees make a pretty shad beside his house, certainly it is a great change to what it used to be. When I came home Pa did not hear me and was surprised enough to see me. he has been more sane so it did him good to miss me for a while. 

I hope now tomorrow he will be better & not worry so much. The town report occupied his time for a while. Alice Talbot's picture was in the front page & it paid a great tribute to her as a librarian, for so many years, for the good of the library.
