anything but who's going to clean out the vault no one is coming. he has fussed till I am sick & tired of hearing it. now he will expect to have him do it for nothing & fuss about that all he sees is trouble. he is cold to day & his winter flannels are none to warm.

I gave the Ballentines [[Ballentine's]] some rhubarb & Addie came over & I gave her a great bunch of flowers for decoration. she seemed pleased of course. they are so near its well to keep on the right side of them if possible. I have no neighbors they let me alone as if I were poison & I do the same. as long as there is something to occupy my attention I dont mind. but I get lonesome towards night & long for some outside person to talk with. my bushes back of the hous [[house]] look fine. all in bloom & the little white moss pink streaches [[stretcher's]] out into the field two yards or more every lilac, dogwood flower, snowball [[ductzier?]] & spire a full of blossoms. the lupin has thirteen great clusters of buds showing color of blue ready to come out in a day or two. the rain after our hot sun, sent things right along. my seeds needed the hot sun & the rain also did the rest so they are coming & my seeds you sent are all up they will be a new flower I never had any before that I rember [[remember]] of. This is a cold cloudy day hope you have it pleasant there one needs on their winter coat here to be comfortable this afternoon is more sunny.
