I found that my tomatoes that were looking so thrifty were being cut off & concluded there was a cut worm in the dirt. so I have got some more dirt forsythia baked it in the oven & have transplanted them into another box & in that way I mean to save them if possible.

My chrysanthemums lived over winter most of them the winter being mild & my bulbs are coming up every one we set out I think. I see my daffodills [[daffodils]] one of them out front are blossomed by the glass door & the others are budded. I guess most of those out back of the house are daffodills [[daffodils]], they are the ones that are the best. & my popies [[poppies]] are coming up they need richer soil to do well.

Bruce pays him rent next month & Drake his in a little over a week & I have $20. besides so I guess you need not worry, enough till Drake gets around he always is sure to pay by the first & Bruce every two months. now. he is a good tenant. dependable. he sold his ducks now he has geese.
