Know all men by their presents :—
That We Adams, Cockburn and Howe of the firm of Adams, Cockburn and Howe of New-Orleans State of Louisiania as principals, and Seth H. Kellogg of Yazoo City, County of Yazoo Mississippi as security are held and firmly bound in the sum of Eighteen Hundred Dollars, for the pay ment of which, will and truly to be made we find ourselves and each of us our and each of our heirs Executors and Administrators firmly by these presents and in case of default there of the Military Authorities in Command of the State of Mississippi are authorized and empowered to enter upon our several estates and levy and sell sufficient thereof and all our property, personal and real to satisfy this obligation and all the Costs of enforcing the same without process of law either of the Federal or State County :—
