Respectfully states that in consequence of the prevalence of Yellow Fever in this Sub. District during the last sixty days, and of sickness in his family, together with the fact of the Sub. District being a very large one, the Sub. Asst. Comr has been unable to comply with the requirements of Genl Order No 30 -Paragraph 1 - dated August 20th 1867 - States further that, in consequence of the various duties required of him in addition to those of Sub. Asst. Comr, and the very limited assistance he now has, that it will be impossible for him to perform the fast increasing duties of the Sub. Asst. Comr Bureau R F & A L and respectfully request to be relieved of the duties of that position
