to the poor of Winston Co. — In obedience to a request of Mr Ross' I forwarded on the 21st inst. [[strikethrough]]I have [[/strikethrough]] all papers which may be of value to him. to Williamsburg Miss. — Mr Ross never turned over to me his "Book of Complaints." but, to Mr Cass. — this, is the book, Mr Cass requires, there is no other. If I should find any papers relative to Sub. Dist. of Macon, I will, at once, forward to Mr C and at the same time, render him all the assistance in my power. Jn Williams, Agt. & B.R.F. & A.L. No 2. The papers turned over to Mr Cass, by men, consisted of contracts, monthly Reports, — School, &c, (retain copies, left by Mr Ross, the former Agent.) — I again state, on honor, that to the best of my knowledge there is not a single paper in my office, (with the exception of copies of my letters, which I wrote while there) — pertaining to Sub.
