Exam. of plates of +79°173 5^[[h]] 9^[[m]].0 +79 43' 7.7 and its position with regard to +79°172 5^[[h]] 8^[[m]] 46^[[s]] + 79 43.5 95 to [[strikethrough]]de[[/strikethrough]]show whether diff. in pos. obs. with 12 inch M.P. is due to error in the DM. or to proper motion.
Plates I699 taken on Feb. 21, 1890 Ex. 9m, and I 28422 taken on Feb. 6, 1902 Ex. 19m, show that the stars are separated on both plates by about 0.13 cm, and are in the same position on both plates. The position in the DM should be at least 1m greater in R.A.
