The Bvt. Maj. Gen. directs that you proceed to Greenwood this evening. investigate the affair and arrest the within named man, Pollard, and bring him to these Head Quarters. You can take the detachment from Yazoo City, if you think proper, in addition to the five (5) men now at Greenwood.
