is with Mr Henry Harrison, formerly a Union Soldier. The Sheriff & Asst Assessor think that the Lady runs no risk of insult, she will be but severely alone at first.
I shall think that it would be well that it would be well that Crawford commence the school there. The Lady Teachers are really necessary for Louisburg, one will do here!
I met Miss Miller & Miss Hudson in the cars, as I was returning from Warrenton. They arrived here safely & will commence their labors as soon as they have rested somewhat. They told me they have been on the road a week.
If you conclude to send a Lady to Warrenton, let her slop at the 
Warrenton Station on the R & G.R.R & from thence take the stage to Warrenton, three miles. The driver can take her direct to the house of Mr. Harrison, Jeweler.

I have the honor to report that  having been directed by S.O. No 57. Ex II Dated Nov Dept. Bureau of R. F & A L. Washington D.C. April 23d 1866, to report to the ASst Com'r of this State for duty; I was on the 10" day of May Last, assigned to duty as Asst Supt of this Sub Dist, the duties of which position I still perform
