Researcher - The curator has spent, on an average, about one hour a day, in identifying the shore and shallow water Echini collected by the steamer Albatross on the west coast of North America during 1888 and 1889.  The work was completed before the end of the month, and as mentioned abor, a type service of the species has been selected for transfer to the Museum by the Fich lom mission to which the collection belongs.  The deep water spec mene representing several new species will be replaced to Mr. Alexander Agassiz for study.
