From Wesleyan University, Middletown Conn., 23 species of Annelids collected in Bermuda by Mr. G. Brown Goude in 1876 and 1877, and identified by Prof. H.E. Webster, who described twelve of the species. 
From Dr. P. Herbert Carpenter, 29 microscopic slides of Foraminifera from the dredgings of H.M.S. Porcupine, Valorons, Lightning and Challenger, the mountings having been made by  the late Prof. William B. Carpenter.
