Duplicate specimens of eight rare species of Echini were sent to the Rev. A. M. Norman, England, in exchange for a portion of the valuable collections that have been received from him during the past two or three years.

The Museum collection of Crustacea from the Bahamas, made chiefly by the steamer Albatross in 1886, was sent to Prof C. S. Dolley, of the University of Pennsylvania, for study.
