Routine work.-- The Brachyura identified by Mr. Benedict are being labeled, catalogued and arranged in order in the basement storage room. Much time was consumed in preparing five special sets of duplicates, containing from 76 to 119 species and from 221 to 394 specimens each. These sets consist chiefly of echinoderms, corals and crustaceans. A convenient list of duplicates on hand has been prepared.
