Accessions - From Lieut J. Six Bolles U.S.N., U.S.S. Nipsic, were received 9 specimens of coral, 3 specimens of elchini, and one sponge, form Samoa; from H. lechatelain, 15 specimens of starfishes and one rare crab, from St. Thomas Island, west coast of Africa; from Lieut. J. F. Moser, U.S.N., U.S.L.S.S. Bache, two crabs and one isopod, from Florida reefs.

Routine Work. - Mr. Benedict continued his work of mounting dried shrimp for the exhibition series. The Brachynura, as soon as they are named are catalogued, labeled and systematically arranged. The card
