Fish Hawk off the coast of South Carolina in 1890-91. Advances were  also made in the study of the genus Panopeus, to which the collection made by the steamer Fish Hawk has contributed specimens.
Specimens sent out. - Forty-two species and 158 specimens of Echinoderms were sent to the Zoological Museum, Berlin, Germany, in exchange. To Dr. Robert P. Bigelow, Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Md., was sent almost the entire collection of unnamed Stomatopoda for study. Nine species and almost 25 specimens of Echinoderms were given to Mr. F. A. Lucas for the synoptical collection of the National Museum.
