two specimens of Pentacrinue and several lots of unsorted foraminifera. A set of the latter was also sent to F. S. Morton, Portland, Me., and to Miss Nellie Baird, Washington, Pa. Small pieces of gorgonians and sponges for microscopic work were furnished G. R. Lumsden, Greeneville, Conn. A few specimens of common echinoderms and corals and a crab were given Miss Caroline Henry.
