Dear Doris
  Another warm day clouding up + going to rain the [[?]] bays.  I see everything is coming along now since these three sunny days but the forsythia is the only thing in bloom so far in the shrubs.  my redbud is all budded + hope they may make some more show this year.  hedges have begun to look green + grass is shooting up.  Mrs. [[?]] is home early this year + is starting her garden [[?]].  I have been cleaning a little today but doing only a small part as I got rather too tired yesterday + this is not so good a day to blow out things on the line.  yesterday I bought a mitten of a man who came to our door made of cotten, such as they line rubber coats of.  its yellow made of pieces foul5.[[?]] its spelndid, it would be good to use on Autoes he said, they are made down in Hyde park.  I rubbed over our furniture + made it shine.  the piano[[?]] it polishes very soft + does not scratch + your hand is protected inside of the mitten nothing would be better for windows I should think I wish I had got another.
