Stoughton March 20th 1933

Dear Doris

This morning was another winterish morning every thing covered with snow + it is snowing some by spells through the day. I have just turned on the heat as there's not going to be any seen today but it may not be any more snow to clear off cold. I have just finished the little muslir deers so you can see I am not rushing business. I washed out my clothes early this mourning + hung them on the line on this side of the house where they wont get the wind, they will whiter in the snow flurries, if they dont dry, there seems to be a fine storm all the time, but the temperature is just above freezing. so far March has been a real winter month with but very few warm days. the snow drohs are coming up under as now. I suppose Joe Gapen is happy down in Florida + Frank Gapen also the jew he is not letting his tenement ores here + guess it will stand idle for  a while, business is so uncertain no one can pay forty dollars on such a house he has had to come down on the upstairs tenement the told him they could not pay so much as business was such. The idea of Me Tarveys asking thirty dollars for their old patched
