Dear Doris
It is clouding up + we may get another weekend snow storm. this morning the thermometer registered 10° warmer than yesterday morning, but its always cold when we have the ground covered with snow.
This is Pa's day for getting shaved + he begins to look for Harris soon after breakfast. theres nothing regular about his coming. The fire alarm has just run in + it has sounded the second time + Pa is greatly disturbed there everything going to pieces now since he cant even eat dinner, "you will find its so, the whole town [[crossthrough]] is [[/crossthrough]] will go to pieces".
Alice has just called up to tell me the up stairs window over to the Blake house is open a few inches + for me to bring down a little sharp nail Percy + I will go over an drive in the nail to keep it shut so the plastering wont get wet.
This is Friday unlucky day, well the fire only last a little over half an hour, so guess it did not ammount to a great deal. I am waiting to see some one so to find out where it was.
I have been down with the key you said was in with the other keys
