shook me most off my feet because I wanted him to let the stove alone, as I had just put on coal & he was shutting up the cold air slide & tipping the covers. I landed a slap on his head & he let the stove alone. he is so aggrevating. I cant stand him when he gets at that pitch. he has gone upstairs to bed now in the front room. We two had milk toast for our supper & I have cleared the table and washed the dishes. now he has brought me his paper to read. I am sitting up waiting for Bruces [[Bruce's]] rent but it shows no sign of any of them coming to pay tonight after 7 O'clock. I think they had their telephone taken out. pretty soon I will go up to bed. I am here alone Ma. 

Doris is improving in writing. Grandma thinks its going to warm up Friday the nights paper says, slowly rising temperature we will be glad.  Ma.
