Dear Doris
Our clouds in the south last night at sunset ment a snow storm for to day. all day by spells its spit snow & we have snow in the atmosphere which makes it necessary to keep our heat on Pa comes down every little while & assures me every thing is going to the devil & turnes it off & shuts the draft to the kitchen stove. but between times we manage to keep warm he eats most all the time & we wonder where he stores it all but the Dr says its his nerves that makes him he finds a dish full & goes off contentid after eating it & it seems to make him content I called up Gregory last night to come & put on the out side windows. he said as he was working he might have to wait untill next Sunday & wanted to know if I could go 'till then. I inquired after his father & he said he was getting along fine with his new treatment. he was taking I dont know what it was. Alice called up to know how I was & said she would send me some discarded books to read. I told her as my leg was so much better I managed to read a little while at a time. my nerves get stronger & I dont go to pieces as I used to. Alice says she has a cold.
