Lieutenant Colonel Hood. The surgeon-in-Chief Bureau RF & AL State of Mississippi, will proceed, without delay, to New Orleans, for the purpose of arranging with Medical Purveyors at that point for the supply of stores to the Hospitals at this Bureau. I Lieutenant Stuart Eldridge, 64th Acting Asst Adj't Genl Bureau RF & AL state of Mississippi, will proceed to New Orleans, Lou. For the purpose of arranging with the Assistant Commissioners of the State of Louisiana, for the to him of the portion of that State heretofore under control of this office. I Lieutenant J.T. Hanna, 70th USCS having reported to this office for duty, will report, without delay, to Major Gen. D. Reynolds, Act Asst. Coms. Southern Dist Miss. at [[?]] Miss. for assignments. IV. In accordance with instructions from the Commissioners of Freedmen's Bureau Washington, D.C., it is hereby ordained that all the land on Davis' Bend belonging to Jefferson and Joseph Davis, will be leased out to Freedmen till Jan. 1st 1869. The lands will be divided into small tracts and assigned to Freedmen who are able to cultivate them, by the Superintendent in charge. A record will be kept of the lands, and such arrangements made from time to time as may seem necessary to [[?]] the interests of the Freedmen. By orders of Col. Sam'l Thomas A.W.
