MURIEL BULTMAN FRANCIS June 27, 1966 Miss Teresa Parker Jacques Seligmann and Company 5 East 57th Street New York, New York Dear Teresa: I am hoping this will find you still in New York. I have just had a letter from the Registrar of the City Art Museum of St. Louis, Mr. Richard S. Cleveland. In regard to insuring the Degas drawing I simply insured it for the amount I paid in the Gallery, namely $5500.00. I feel that if it is going on tour, this is probable well under its current value. Would it be an imposition to ask you how much I should insure it for? By any happy chance do you have a photograph which I might borrow long enough to have copied. It is so difficult to have anything photographed under glass, but by the same token I do not like to have it taken out of its frame. 6/14/66 (Hold) diary p. 44
