3-COMMISSION AND CASH DISCOUNT
a. Commission to recognized Advertising Agencies, 15%.
b. Cash discount, 2%.
c. Cash discount date, 15 days following publication.
4-MECHANICAL REQUIREMENTS
a. Pages are 4 columns wide by 154 lines deep-616 lines to the page. Columns are 2 inches wide by 11 inches deep.
b.Full page 8 1/4 inches by 11 inches.
Half page (2 col.) 4 inches by 11 inches.
(4 col.) 8 1/4 inches by 5 3/8 inches
Quarter page (1 col.) 2 inches by 11 inches.
(2 col.) 4 inches by 5 3/8 inches.

5-ISSUANCE AND CLOSING DATES
a. Issued 1st and 15th of publication month. On sale day preceding date of issue.
b. Orders for advertisements in single issues more than six months beyond the closing date of the current issue can be accepted only at the rate then prevailing. 
c. Black and white forms close 8 days preceding date of issue; for proofs, 10 days.
d. Color forms close 21 days preceding date of issue. 

6-CIRCULATION
a. Character: ART NEWS is a class magazine devoted to every phase of fine arts. Its editorial appeal is directed to art collectors and connoisseurs, museums, artists and art students and all persons interest in the fine arts. Such people are wealthy and discriminating and their high aesthetic tastes provide a rich and responsive audience for class advertising. 
b. Locality: National, in large cities and wealthy suburban communities, throughout the U.S.

7-MISCELLANEOUS
a. Founded 1902. Twenty issues per year. Subscription price, $5.50 in the continental U.S.; $6.50 elsewhere. Single copy, 50 cents.
b. The Publishers reserve the right to reject advertisements deemed objectionable. The Publishers will be the sole judges in the matter.
