I think she will have a home. he has been faithful to her all these years. Frank Pool is his name. her last days may be her best. I hope so. this old man was at the head of the Gurney Oil Burners for many years & is over eighty years old.

I am afraid you are awful tired from your care of us these weeks you were here. you were so full of care & cannot take things calm as I can, another few weeks of it would make you sick. I saw it coming, so for that reason was glad to have you go. but shall miss you horribly just the same. I hope you may enjoy your home & not fret over something you cannot help. theres always a way out of every difficulty I feel. so dont worry. yours with much anxiety & love.

PS hope the little one is feeling better & enjoys her presents & tree. Pa's heart has been very irregular he gets out of breath at nothing & is very uneasy. his head bothers him a lot. he has not slept all day. Alice is sleeping since supper & I have been taking the first watch, now Mrs. Osborne is up there for hers as she does not go to bed untill 10 O'Clock so Alice will get good rest between us.
