The condition of the freedmen for the future is not Encouraging. The crops are falling far short of what was expected. A Majority of them will be in debt at the final settlement. one caus it that they were entirely destitute at the commenant [[commencement]] of the year. And it was nesessay [[necessary]] for the Employers to advance them in order to put them in a condition to
