26  Mary Hays col'd vs. Geo. Smith col'd.
Complaint - George had deserted his wife and taken up with another woman - Summoned the parties, investigated the facts - George seemed persistent and promised to do better for the future. Under this promise the parties were reconciled and the case dismissed.

27  Perkins Anderson col'd vs. Benj. Inman.
Complaint of salt and battery ordered sheriff to arrest Inman- The case was tried and Inman found guilty - ordered to pay a fine of 10.00 and costs

28 Perkins Anderson col'd vs. Benj. Inman.
Complaint - Salt & Battery - referred the case to the Civil authorities, There it was tried and dismissed.

29 Diana L. Jenkins vs. Nelson Jenkins Deft col'd 
Complaint - that Nelson had deserted her for another woman taking [[strikethrough]] with[[/strikethrough]] her corn and clothing and leaving her three children to support - Summoned Nelson who plead guilty as to the corn but denied taking clothing - after advice the parties agreed to live together and as far as I can learn they are doing well, aiding and asisting each other in their labor-
