The number of freed people in this Sub Dist Twenty two (22000) Thousand
[[margin]] Their Condt & How paid for work [[/margin]]
Their condition in the majority of cases is very good, but few instances of suffering. They have been paid, liberally according to the nature of Contracts

The nature of Contracts for the present year, the majority is for one-half the Crop grown and gathered the Employees to subsist themselves
[[margin]] Number Sick Old and Infirm [[/margin]]
The number of Old, Sick or Infirm Suffering from want is unknown
