SWEEPSTAKE AWARDS

The 1933 competition inaugurates the innovation of a policy which provides one race each day for three of the cubic inch classifications, together with accumulated Sweepstake trophy awards and cash purses.

Sweepstake awards will be determined on the basis of points and the final Sweepstake winner in each of the three groups affected will be determined on the afternoon of September 4th.

The winner of the Sweepstake award will be the pilot accumulating the greatest number of points during the four days of competition, and who has continuously flown the same ship in each of the four races which make up the Sweepstake award.

Points for each day will be awarded on the following basis: first place five (5) points; second place four (4) points; third place three (3) points; fourth place (2) points; fifth place one (1) point.

SWEEPSTAKE AWARD NO. 1
Total Purse $400.00
For events Nos. 1,5, 9 and 14 - For motors of 200 cubic inch displacement.

The pilot accumulating the largest number of points in the above mentioned events under the rules as covered under Sweepstake Awards will be awarded 45% of the total Sweepstake prize money; second place - 25%; third place - 15%; fourth place - 10%; fifth place - 5%.

SWEEPSTAKE AWARD NO. 2
Total Purse $800.00
For events Nos. 2, 6, 10 and 15 - For motors of 375 cubic inch displacement.

The pilot accumulating the largest number of points in the above mentioned events under the rules as covered under Sweepstake Awards will be awarded 45% of the total Sweepstake prize money; second place - 25%; third place - 15%; fourth place - 10%, fifth place - 5%.

Total Purse $1,500.00

For events Nos. 3, 7, 11 and 16 - For motors of 550 cubic inch displacement.

The pilot accumulating the largest number of points in the above mentioned events under the rules as covered under Sweepstake Awards will be awarded 45% of the total Sweepstake prize money; second place - 25%; third place - 15%; fourth place - 10%; fifth place - 5%.

Total Purse $200.00
PARACHUTE JUMPMING CONTEST
EVENTS NOS. 20, 21, 22 AND 23

Jumpers winning the greatest number of points in the above mentioned events will received from the Sweepstake award as follows: first place - 45%; second place - 25%; third place - 15%; fourth place - 10%; fifth place - 5%.
