Bendix Products,
South Bend, Ind.

Attention: Advertising Manager.

Dear Sirs:

Undoubtedly you are aware of the fact that Mr. Frank W. Fuller, Jr., of San Francisco, won the 1937 Bendix Trophy Race, in a commercial version of a Seversky Pursuit Plane, equipped with your products.

It is my though that perhaps you might be interested in carrying a cut of the winner with his record-breaking plane, in the form of a cooperative advertisement with this company.

I am enclosing therefore, a photograph of Mr. Fuller in his Seversky, with the hope that you will find it a desirable subject for an advertisement and would appreciate word from you as to your disposition in this regard.

I am sure that you feel that Mr. Fuller should be saluted as the winner of this great race and that your company was pleased to have contributed much to his success.

Yours very truly,
JOHN B. HAGGIN.
