1. The airplanes eligible for this event will be all airplanes which are properly entered and have participated in the qualifying speed trials but whose qualifying speed does not entitle them to start in either the Thompson Trophy Race or the Greve Trophy Race.

2. Distance - 50 miles; 5 laps of the 10-mile course.

Open to Motors of 549 cubic inch displacement or less

THE CLEVELAND PNEUMATIC TOOL COMPANY is sponsoring the Louis W. Greve Trophy Race and will award the Louis W. Greve Trophy to the winner.

1. $22,000.00 of the above total purse will be awarded to the winners of the first ten places on the following basis:
1st Place - $10,000
2nd Place - $5,000
3rd Place - 2,000.00
4th Place - 1,000.00
5th Place - 900.00
6th Place - $800.00
7th Place - 700.00
8th Place - 600.00
9th Place - 500.00
10th Place - $500.00

2. $2,000.00 of the above total purse will be awarded to the winner of the race, provided his speed exceeds the present National Air Race record of 247.3 miles per hour.

3. $1,000.00 of the above total purse will be awarded as a Consolation Prize to the airplanes which do not finish in the first ten places on the following basis:
11th Place - $300.00
12th Place - 250.00
13th Place - $200.00
14th Place - 150.00
15th Place - $100.00

4. The airplanes eligible for this event will be the 15 airplanes with motors of 549 cu. in. displacement or less, having made the fastest speeds in the qualifying speed trials.

5. Distance: 200 miles - 20 laps of the 10-mile course.

6. The owner of the winning airplane, or an Aero Club he may designate, will be given possession of the Louis W. Greve Trophy for ten months from the date of the race. The pilot of the winning airplane will be awarded, for permanent possession, a Gold Plaque: the pilot of the airplane winning second place will be awarded, for permanent possession, a Silver Plaque; and the pilot of the airplane winning third place will be awarded, for permanent possession, a Bronze Plaque.
