accomplished here, I know I have done my part, and if every christian young man at the north will come here and do one half what I have, I have no doubt the people would have a school for many years to come.I should not leave so suddenly, as I shall were it not, that my room rent, is now due and I do not wish to engage it longer. I also need to be at my work, as the spring is coming on so rapidly.

I am to live with a friend, and as he wishes it kept private, where his place of residence is to be for a few days, you will please not mention, where I am to live, until you hear from me again. His reason for privacy is that he is now at the north, and being a northern man, he thinks his house would be in danger should it be known who the owner was. I write this that you may decide at once what to do for Dalton[[strikethrough]] getting a teacher. Hoping you will do something for this people I remain
