Dear Sir;
Yesterday I received a "Daily School Register," for which you will please accept my sincere thanks. Mrs. Grimes teacher of Colored School at this place informed me that you desired to hear from me. It gives me pleasure to bear witness to a truth patent to all in our community, & to no one more than to myself, perhaps; as I have a better opportunity, being Supt & principal teacher in the large and flourishing Cold S. School at this place), that, She has faithfully taught all who went to her, & has upon the whole, been very successful.
