Dear Doris:

All hail! Your mother is napping, your father just finished with your letter and now just a word from me. The buds on some of the trees have already started and spring seems to be coming early but of course it is hardly safe to make predictions yet.

I am glad that you have got in to work that you like. Undoubtedly you will have your appointment before long now. Are you and Sid in the same building? I couldn't quite make out from your letter.

Daisy, her sister Helen, and Oren were in last Sunday night to supper. Thursday we had been to see "The Belly 'Ole" which was very good and next Thursday we are some of us to see Fred Stone in Jack-o-lantern. Friday the girls at school put on a little show under my direction. It went pretty well until Miss L. butted in to spoil the cast tableau, which made the girls furious. As Oren would say, "She is full of prunes."

Best wishes to you both.
Lena.
