Dear Doris,
  We are still having nice sunny weather, after two days of heavy frost, that took all the flowers that were left in the garden. I have been puttering around fixing my plants in the bay window, sawing some logs so I can get them into the kitchen range, washing out a few clothes, and having great time generally. Thursday I went over to Brockton to the bank and did some shopping. I got me an every day dress that fits me fine, long sleeved, blue striped, gingham, and a night dress, both were marked down, very good quality, also a pair of corsets, which I was sadly in need of, I guess I havent had a new pair for five years sure. Then the next day I called on Aunt Rebecca
