Dear Folks, This is the night of B.U. Pops, and Lula and I did consider going, but I got a postal from Theodore this morning which made an errand I had in Boston unnecessary, so I didn’t go in.  I thought that if it cleared I might go later and try for rush seats, but I am glad I didn’t, it is so cold and disagreeable.  Perhaps we can go later on some other college night.  Lula was out last Thursday, and, as usual, brought a double lunch, but it was too cold and windy to picnic.  We staid in and had lobster salad, mashed carrots, strawberries and cream.  She also brought a little Vermont maple syrup so at night I made some griddle cakes, and had bananas and what syrup was left on vanilla ice cream.
Are you getting the ice cream at the First National Store for 20 cents a pint?  The vanilla and chocolate both are good.  I don’t care so much for the strawberry.
Theodore gives good reports on Bunny.  Bernice is afraid to have John Hollis come back home now, though, so Mr. Andrew has invited
