Mrs Andrew apparently was not normal at the last for after all his promiss to Berenice, she left everything to Mr Andrew while he lived, and to a trust or charity of some kind when he is through with it. I may now look up Mrs Hannens will in which I believe we were left something we never received. But please do not say anything to anyone about it yet anyway. News does travel.

Dear Folks
I was glad to get your letters. I hope that this weather is not too hard on you. Of course I like it but even so I removed my dress before I started writing letters because it is a new one I made and I was afraid the sweat would fade it. I will put a sample of it in for you to see. It is a little cheap print which I made like the one I bought downtown in Stoneham last year - like your pretty Careudar - did you ever finish that? It was very becoming to you. You could cut it off if you do not like it so long, but I thought it was very pretty falling in drapery about you. I think, however that it was fairly even so that you could cut it off evenly all around and turn it up. Perhaps Maud would help you hang it. I piped the neck, the sleeve and skirt ruffles and the bow-knot with black.
This morning early - about 7:30 - I started out up the railroad track after wild iris. The grass was wet, of course,
